Linden Market Dental Centre has invested in digital radiography to aid in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of dental issues. Digital radiography, also known as digital x-rays, has replaced traditional photographic x-ray film and produces enhanced computer images that help in all aspects of dentistry. Perhaps more important to patients, digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation patients are exposed to as compared to their traditional counterparts, resulting in a safer solution then dental x-rays.

Benefits of Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays mean that you no longer have to wait for us to develop your x-rays in a dark room as the x-rays are sent directly to a computer and can be viewed immediately. We find that this helps tremendously in helping us detect oral health issues early and accurately but also aids in patient education. Patients can literally see the dental problems that Dr. Rykiss identifies clearly on a computer screen and make more accurate decisions that affect their oral health.
